I am very new at blogging. So bare with me. As my child is asleep in bed , my soon to be husband in another bed. I couldn't help be sit here and think. Wow this year has gone by so fast. The year started out ok. But then go worse when our son was going backwards on his therapy but not forwards. Then it always was the consist pain on his right leg. We knew what had to be done. We went in April and had another surgery on our son's right led to correct it. ( Basically they cut the leg off right above the knew and rotated where it had to go. Then put 6 screw's and 2 plate's in. ) This was a lot for a 9 year old boy to take it. It wasn't his 1st or 2nd surgery. This was his 5th. Poor guy has been threw so much in just the short amount of time that his has been down here on earth. Then came the hard intense therapy to get him back to walking . WE had a great summer. We went back to the same school where he went last year. That was a relief I think for another mother in my same boat. But something happen during the summer this year. My son was able to start reading. We jumped for joy !! By school started our son was in therapy 4 times a week. Plus his other sport after school he like's to do. Soon came the holidays we where excited in this house. I love to celebrate the holiday's in a big way. My motto is Go Big or Go Home ! Boy do I ever. I am sitting here. At first I didn't feel thankful at Thanksgiving. Because now the soon to be husband was having a lot of back problems. So when all the result's came back . He has a mild case of arthritis in his back plus in his bone. Then we also found out that L1-L5 of his lower back is the disk are complete bulging out. Causing the nerve's on his right side to go goofy to the point. ( You know when your toes go to sleep. That you get a pin's a needles feeling. That is his leg completely all day when he puts any weight on it.) So know I am taking care of not only or son. But taking care of my hubby. We find out here pretty on what the neurosurgeon is going to do.
